HandoVideo Converter only runs on Microsoft Windows platform. Because it depends on Microsoft Media Encoder, which can only run on Windows 2000 or Windows XP, HandoVideo Converter only supports Windows 2000 or XP, but not Windows 9x/ME/NT.

Microsoft Media Player 6.4 or higher

HandoVideo Converter needs the Windows Media Player ActiveX Control, which is included after Microsoft Media Player 6.4 or later. Generally, this program should be already installed in your system.

Microsoft Media Encoder 9

HandoVideo Converter is based on Microsoft Windows Media Encoder 9. You will have to install Microsoft Media Encoder 9 before converting video files by HandoVideo Converter.
